The Salvation Army of Hopkinsville is accepting donations of items for their Angel Tree program, to help those in need in the community have a good Christmas.
Appearing on WHOP Wednesday morning. Lt. Lindsey Galabeas says they are accepting items until December 9 and they’ll take clothes, toys and more for their families on the Angel Tree.
She says they’ll gratefully accept anything people can afford, but a good amount to cover your bases is about $100.
Lt. Galabeas says they have more people than ever on the tree this year, so any help is greatly appreciated.
