Assault charge dismissed against Fourqurean

The assault charge against James Fourqurean was dismissed in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.

Fourqurean appeared alongside defense attorney Jarrod Jackson and Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling, with Judge Andrew Self reading the motion to dismiss the first-degree assault charge without prejudice.

Fourqurean was arraigned on a felony receiving stolen property charge, and a pretrial hearing for that case was set on December 7.

Fourqurean had originally been indicted for allegedly assaulting a woman with a baseball bat.
