MLB Announces Award Finalists

>>Goldschmidt, Arenado Up For NL MVP

(St. Louis, MO)  — A pair of Cardinals players are battling for the National League Most Valuable Player award.  First baseman Paul Goldschmidt and third baseman Nolan Arenado were both named finalists for the honor yesterday.  Both players are up against Padres third baseman Manny Machado.  Additionally, Brendan Donovan is one of three finalists for the NL Rookie of the Year award.  The winners for both awards will be announced next week.

(Atlanta, GA) – The MLB Players Association has named Ronald Acuna Jr. as the NL Comeback Player of the Year. They also awarded Spencer Strider the NL Rookie of the Year. Atlanta also bolsters several award finalists, they include; Max Fried for the NL Cy Young, Brian Snitker for NL Manager of the Year, and two NL Rookie of the Year Finalists in Spencer Strider and Michael Harris II. Winners announced next week.
