Clarksville police investigating vehicle versus pedestrians hit-and-run collision

The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians Tuesday afternoon on Lafayette Road.

It took place around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Lafayette Road in Clarksville between Orleans and Darlene Drive, when two pedestrians were reportedly struck by a white Chrystler 300. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. At least one of the pedestrians was flown to a hospital in Nashville by helicopter and their status is unknown.

The white Chrystler 300 has possible front-end damage and is missing the passenger side mirror—the windshield may also have damages.  Anyone with information on the vehicle or the collision is asked to call 911.
