Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree has been elected to a full term in that office as he remains under investigation by a special prosecutor.
Acree finished with 2,498 votes—well ahead of Mike Sandbrink, who was the top vote-getter among four write-ins with 1,394 votes.
