(Undated)  — In other college football action this weekend, Middle Tennessee is at University of Texas-El Paso, Austin Peay hosts Jacksonville State, Chattanooga visits Furman, East Tennessee State goes on the road to Wofford, Murray State is at home against Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech has a road game against Eastern Illinois, UT-Martin is at Houston Christian, Eastern Kentucky visits Southeast Missouri, Morehead State takes on Butler on the road, and Western Kentucky welcomes North Texas.  Memphis and Vanderbilt both have byes.

>>Tennessee Hosts Kentucky

(Knoxville, TN)  — Two of the best teams in the country go head-to-head when number-three Tennessee hosts number-17 Kentucky at Neyland Stadium tomorrow night.  The undefeated Volunteers beat UT-Martin 65-24 last weekend to improve to 7-and-0 overall, and they have a 3-and-0 mark in the SEC.  Meanwhile, the Wildcats had a bye last week after beating Mississippi 27-17 on October 15th.  Kentucky is 5-and-2 overall and 2-and-2 in conference play.  Tennessee has won three of the last four games between the pair.

>>Louisville Takes On Wake Forest

(Louisville, KY)  — The Louisville Cardinals go for their third-straight win when they host number-10 Wake Forest at Cardinal Stadium tomorrow.  The Cardinals beat Pitt 24-10 last weekend to improve to 4-and-3 overall and 2-and-3 in the ACC.  Louisville is 6-and-3 all-time against Wake Forest.

(Undated)  — In college basketball exhibition action yesterday, Tennessee Tech beat Cumberland 80-69, and Bellarmine took down Centre College 71-34.  Tonight, number-11 Tennessee visits number-two Gonzaga.  On Sunday, Memphis hosts Lane College, number-four Kentucky welcomes Missouri Western State, and Louisville is at home against Lenoir-Rhyne.

Cardinals Edged by Second-Ranked Tar Heels, 2-0

The University of Louisville women’s soccer team went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the country Thursday night at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. They held the second-ranked Tar Heels scoreless over the games first 60 minutes but ultimately fell 2-0 to the Tar Heels. North Carolina scored two goals in a two minute span starting in the 66th minute to secure the win.

Racers Take First-Round Victory Over Drake, First Postseason MVC Win For MSU

Morgan Bodker’s late heroics on a 76th-minute game-winning goal gave Murray State women’s soccer the 1-0 victory over Drake in the first round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on Thursday night in Carbondale, Illinois. The win is the first for Murray State in MVC postseason play. The Racers were able to flip the script against the Bulldogs after Drake took the regular-season match 1-0 just four days ago in Des Moines, Iowa. Murray State picks up their second clean sheet of the season as Jamie Skarupsky got the start in goal for the Racers.
