Women’s Soccer Earns First Point in SEC Play, Draws Florida, 1-1

LEXINGTON, Ky. – A robust second half effort allowed Kentucky women’s soccer (7-7-1, 0-6-1 SEC) to notch its first result in conference play, as the Wildcats played to a 1-1 draw against the Florida Gators (2-11-1, 0-6-1 SEC) on Sunday afternoon at the Wendell and Vickie Bell Soccer Complex.

Luis Grassow and Casper Grening Goals Earn Road Draw for Kentucky

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 2 Kentucky men’s soccer team (8-0-4, 3-0-2 Sun Belt) fought to the end for a 3-3 draw with Sun Belt Conference opponent West Virginia University (4-6-2, 1-1-3 Sun Belt) on Saturday at the Dick Dlesk Soccer Complex. The Wildcats have begun the season on a 12-match unbeaten run, a year after starting the 2021 season with only wins and draws through the first 15 games.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Opposite Aiko Jones had 20 kills with two aces and a block to lead the No. 2-ranked University of Louisville to a 3-1 win over Wake Forest Sunday afternoon in ACC volleyball action at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena. Claire Chaussee Notches 1,000th career kill.

Cardinals Fall at Home to #6 Notre Dame, 2-0

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville women’s soccer team faced another ranked foe Saturday night and ultimately fell to sixth-ranked Notre Dame, 2-0, at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium. Notre Dame scored in each half and the Cardinals were unable to break the Irish defense and dropped the contest that ended a three-game homestand.

No. 23 Tops Take Care of UTEP

EL PASO, Texas – Wrapping up the weekend, No. 23 WKU Volleyball took care of the Miners of UTEP, 3-1, inside a 806 crowd inside Memorial Gym in El Paso. An offensive heavy match on the service line, the Hilltoppers collected 17 service aces during the afternoon – every server collected at least one ace, with a career-high seven service aces for sophomore Katie Howard.

WKU Soccer Falls to UAB

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Soccer (6-6-3, 3-3-1 C-USA) fell to UAB (9-2-4, 6-0-2) on Sunday afternoon at the WKU Soccer Complex by a 1-0 score. Both teams came into the match as top five defensive teams in the league, so a low-scoring affair was to be expected. Unfortunately, WKU gave up an own goal as the lone score in the loss in the seventh minute of the match.

Racers Fall in Close Contest for Final Home Match of 2022

Saraya Young kept her impressive offensive output going as Murray State soccer dropped a tight contest with Valparaiso 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Cutchin Field in Murray, Kentucky. Young now has three goals and seven assists to lead the Racers with 13 points this season.

Murray State women’s volleyball falls to Southern Illinois as part of their Missouri Valley Conference campaign, Saturday. Murray State women’s volleyball made a comeback to add one the win column at Missouri State, Friday. The Racers is on the wrong side of a competitive first two sets before sweeping the final three sets.

Racer Mania Rings In Hoops Season – Oct. 20

Racer Mania is a free event where fans can meet the Murray State men’s and women’s basketball teams. Racer Mania presented by The Murray Bank rings in the much anticipated first season of college basketball for the Murray State Racers in the Missouri Valley Conference Thursday (Oct. 20) at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. The CFSB Center Doors to the free event open at 6:15 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

Dion earns season’s sixth shutout in scoreless draw

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Senior goalkeeper Chloé Dion earned her sixth shutout of the season as Austin Peay State University women’s soccer played to a scoreless ASUN Conference draw against Florida Gulf Coast, Sunday, at Pickering Field.
