(St. Louis, MO)  — Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina played their final regular season game at Busch Stadium yesterday as the Cardinals lost 7-5 to Pittsburgh.  Pujols hit his 702nd career home run, and Molina drove in a run.  Pujols also tied Babe Ruth for the second-most RBI in MLB history with his 2,214th run driven in.  Adam Wainwright suffered his 12th loss after surrendering six runs in four-and-two-thirds innings.  The Cardinals fall to 92-and-67.  St. Louis wraps up the regular season with a road series against the Pirates that begins tonight.

(Chicago, IL)  — Cincinnati is one loss away from the century mark after an 8-1 defeat to the Cubs in Chicago.  Chase Anderson got the loss, giving up five runs on two hits while walking three batters.  He was pulled after recording just one out in the first inning.  The Reds have lost 99 games and will try to avoid a 100th loss tonight as they host the Cubs in the final series of the regular season.

Atlanta Braves 5, New York Mets 3

(Cumberland, GA)  — The Braves now have a two game lead over the Mets in the NL East after completing the three-game sweep in Cumberland.  Atlanta topped New York 5-3 in the series finale.  Dylan Lee was credited with the win after pitching an inning and a third of relief without allowing a run.  Dansby Swanson and Matt Olson each slugged a solo shot for Atlanta, which is now 100-and-59.  Daniel Vogelbach and Jeff McNeil each went deep for New York, which fell to 98-and-61.
