The data continues to show a decline in COVID-19 in Kentucky, as the positivity rate fell even further in the last week.
The positivity rate is down to 7.70 percent, down from 9.01 percent the week before—there were 3,979 newly reported cases in the last week, along with the 61 newly reported deaths. That does mean the state reaches another grim milestone, surpassing 17,00 deaths at 17,030 since the pandemic began.
There are currently 327 individuals with COVID-19 in the hospital, 39 in the ICU and 20 on a ventilator.
