Only 10 of Kentucky’s 120 counties are still red on the COVID-19 community spread map and none of them are in western Kentucky.
In fact, Christian, Todd, Trigg, Hopkins, Muhlenberg and Caldwell counties are all green on the map and Lyon and Crittenden counties are the only yellow ones in the Pennyrile region.
Governor Andy Beshear says the data is clear, Kentucky is now in a decline in cases.
The governor encouraged everyone who hasn’t already done so to get vaccinated or to get the new updated booster.
Hospitalization and ICU census numbers are also remaining low.
