The Christian County Literacy Council Spelling Bee was held Tuesday night at the Alhambra Theater.
In the 3-5 grade division Zoey Harbold, a 5th grader from HCA, was the champion. Second place went to Arjun Patel, a third grader from UHA and third place to John Carson Vergara, a fourth grader from Indian Hills.
In the 6-8 grade division the winner was eighth grader Teerth Shah. Second place went to Akil Patel, an eighth grader and in third place was seventh grader Prisha Shah. They are all students at UHA.
In the high school division the top prize went to Lacey Paige, a freshman at Christian County High School. Second place was Timothy Hanley, a CCHS senior and third place went to Kylie Radford, a sophomore at Hopkinsville High School.
