Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation has announced the theme and grand marshal for this year’s nighttime Christmas parade as the Pennyrile Senior Games wrap up this week.
Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman says over 200 men and women from the nine-county region participated in the games at the SporstPlex and some of them are still going strong in their 90’s.
Brockman also announced in an appearance on WHOP that the theme for the December 10 Christmas parade is “A Kid’s Christmas” and the grand marshal will be Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Terrence Davis.
As always, the floats and other entries will be decorated and lighted as they make their way down Main Street.
