After going down 3-1 midway through the second half, the Lady Colonels battled back within one and had some serious chances at a tie, but just were not able to execute. Still, a strong performance coming off a few other very strong games, this team looks poised to maybe do something as the season winds down.

A tough day for the Lady Blazers. All they can do is let this one go, count it as a fluke and move on. A nice bounce back opportunity, albeit on the road, presents itself against Apollo on Tuesday night. This team was good enough to not lose 8-1, they are good enough to go on the road and get a tie or even a dub.

A hard fought game that saw yellow cards handed out, a fan asked to leave and then escorted out of the game, and obviously far more than three chances at goals. Josh Settle was spectacular between the bars to hold Fort Campbell to a goal and give his offense, which was certainly possessing and moving the ball well, a chance to do what they did and win this game. It does not get any easier now though. A trip across the parking lots to UHA awaits the Colonels now, and they are all to familiar with what they might look like. Several of their players attended the matchup between Hoptown and UHA a week ago that had seven yellow cards and six goals scored, not to mention a few injuries and very hard nosed play.
