Elkton HarvestFest a big success

Rain moved out of the area just in time for Elkton’s HarvestFest to be a big success Saturday, bringing families to the town for fun, food and festivities.

Mayor Arthur Green says HarvestFest is even more cherished as the world moves on from the pandemic.

Businesses, churches, organizations and agencies filled the square providing food, games and all types of items to purchase, in addition to live music on the stage, with the mayor saying it was a record year for vendors.

Todd County Central FFA provided a corn pit where kids could dive-in and there was a kids area behind the Milliken Memorial Community House with bouncers and other options.
