Fort Campbell will host its annual Run for the Fallen Saturday.
It will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Fryar Stadium on post and officials say it’s an observance of Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day on Sept. 25.
Participants can choose between a 1.4-mile or 3.2-mile route. Both will encompass Fort Campbell’s memorial row, which features memorials dedicated to the brigades of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), special operations and tenant units.
Participants are encouraged to enter the installation through TC Freeman Gate 4 and follow Screaming Eagle and Wickham boulevards to the parking lot south of Fryar Stadium.
Expect road closures and delays from 6 a.m. to noon based on the Run for the Fallen run routes.
Individuals will be able to access the Commissary and the Exchange from Bastogne Avenue.
