A Crofton resident was injured in a wreck on West 18th Street Tuesday morning.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department collision report, a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Betty Dixon of Crofton was heading southbound on High Street, when they reportedly lost consciousness behind the wheel. The vehicle continued onto West 18th and 54-year-old Jerome Taylor of Hopkinsville, who was operating a vehicle east on West 18th, was unable to avoid a collision.
The two collided and Dixon was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. Taylor complained of leg and head pains but was not transported.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
