Gov says COVID numbers still falling

All of the data continues to show Kentucky in a decline when it comes to COVID-19 numbers.

Governor Andy Beshear gave a pandemic update during his weekly Team Kentucky briefing Thursday, saying the case numbers, positivity rate and hospital census figures are all down again this week when it comes to COVID.

Kentucky Commissioner of Public Health, Dr. Steven Stack is urging Kentuckians to get their COVID booster shot that’s engineered to target the Omicron variant, noting your chances of becoming seriously ill or dying are much lower when you’re fully vaccinated.

He also urges you to get a flu shot while you’re getting that COVID booster.
