Wade Miley was charged with his first loss after surrendering three earned run and four unearned runs in three innings. Christopher Morel hit his 14th home run in the losing effort. The Cubs are now 62-and-85. Adrian Sampson starts for Chicago against the Marlins tonight.

(Cumberland, GA) — Austin Riley hit his 37th home run of the season as the Braves took down the Nationals 6-2 in Cumberland. Kyle Wright picked up his 19th win of the season after giving up just two runs over six innings for Atlanta. Kenley Jansen added his 35th save of the season. The Braves improve to 92-and-55. Atlanta is one game back of the Mets for first in the NL East.
