Eastbound traffic on Interstate 24 continues to be restricted to one lane near the 46-mile marker in Lyon County due to a SEMI crash in the median.
All eastbound traffic is moved to the right-hand or driving lane at the crash site to allow emergency response personnel to access the median.
The truck is hauling flooring that will have to be off-loaded by hand before the truck can be removed.
Estimated duration is extended 3 hours to approximately 10:30 a.m., CDT.
This crash site is immediately east of the KY 293 Eddyville-Princeton Exit 45 Interchange.
Eastbound I-24 traffic is expected to remain restricted to one lane until the SEMI is ready to be removed. The eastbound lanes will likely have to be closed during the removal process.
