There will be a joint fundraiser Saturday night at First Baptist Church for Grace and Mercy and Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Kira Bailey with CASA says that organization places volunteers in the Family Court system to follow foster children through their proceedings, advocating for the best potential outcome and they could use additional volunteers and board members.
Grace and Mercy in Hopkinsville serves as a substance abuse rehabilitation and recovery program for women in the community.
Bailey says there will be a concert by Clarksville’s Gateway Chamber Orchestra Saturday night at First Baptist Church. There will be a reception at 6 and performance at 7 and all money raised through donations at the door will benefit both organizations.
The Gateway Chamber Orchestra is directed by Gregory Wolynec.
