The 35th Native American Inter-Tribal Pow Wow is coming up Saturday and Sunday at the park on East Ninth Street.
Christina Scott with the Trail of Tears Commission says gates open at 10 a.m. both days and the grand entries are at 1 and 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
She says it’s also a good opportunity to become reacquainted with the park.
Scott says the heritage center will be open and the event will include all of the events folks have come to love over the years.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and children 6 and under are free. There will also be food, storytelling and music.
You can find a complete schedule of events on the Trail of Tears Pow Wow Facebook page.
