Hopkinsville High School’s Site-Based Decision Making Council has affirmed Cindy Campbell as principal.
The council was in full agreement with Superintendent Chris Bentzel’s choice to hire Campbell as the interim principal in May, according to a news release.
Campbell is quoted as saying, “I look forward to continuing the work that our administrative team has started with our staff, students, parents, and community.”
Bentzel made the selection of Campbell as principal under the newly adopted Senate Bill 1.
Campbell has a 25-year career in education, with many of those years spent teaching and as a curriculum specialist.
