NFL Roster Cuts

>>Titans Cut Roster To 53 Players

(Nashville, TN)  — The Titans are now at the league roster limit after making several cuts yesterday.  Notable departures include 2020 fifth-round pick Larrell Murchison, quarterback Logan Woodside and wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick.  The team is comfortable with rookie quarterback Malik Willis backing up Ryan Tannehill with the release of Woodside.  Tennessee is also giving roster spots to two undrafted rookies in cornerback Tre Avery and running back Julius Chestnut.

Its also being reported that Brett kern will not sign with the Buffalo Bills. He is fond of his family life in TN and the Titans have encouraged he stay ready in case their young punter does not cut it. This per Kern’s dad Cal on WLVL’s morning show today.

 

>>Bengals Release Group Of Players To Meet Roster Deadline

(Cincinnati, OH)  — Several players are looking for new homes after Cincinnati made roster cuts to meet the league’s deadline yesterday.  The team released Drue Chrisman which makes Kevin Huber the preferred punter heading into this season.  Other notable cuts include wide receivers Kwamie Lassiter, Kendrick Pryor and Trenton Irwin along with quarterback Jake Browning.  Veteran safety Trayvon Henderson was released as well as defensive end Noah Spence.
