(Cincinnati, OH)  — Albert Pujols hit the 694th home run of his career as the Cardinals crushed the Reds 13-4 in Cincinnati.  Tyler O’Neill homered twice for St. Louis.  Chris Stratton earned the win for the Cardinals.  Chuckie Robinson hit the first home run of his career for the Reds.

(Cincinnati, OH)  — The Reds get annihilated by the Cardinals in a 13-4 defeat.  Chase Anderson got the loss after pitching one-and-one-third innings while giving up five runs on four hits.  Saint Louis scored six times in the second inning as the Reds fought an uphill battle all night.  Tyler O’Neill smashed two homers and had three R-B-I while Albert Pujols also crushed a home run.  The team will try and bounce back tonight as the series continues in Cincy.

(Toronto, ON)  — The Blue Jays are snapping a three-game skid after taking down the Cubs in extra innings.  Toronto topped Chicago 5-4 in 11 innings north of the border.  Yimi Garcia earned his third win of the year after pitching a couple scoreless innings of relief.  Danny Jansen went two-for-five at the plate with a three-run homer and four RBI.  Mark Leiter Jr. was charged with the loss after allowing an unearned run over an inning and a third of work.  PJ Higgins drove in a pair of runs for the Cubs.
