The cold front bringing chances of rain and thunderstorms early this week will cool things down in the days ahead.
Christine Wielgos is the warning coordination meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Paducah and says the main difference will dropping humidity and dry conditions Tuesday night through Friday.
There appears to be at least a small chance for rain over the Labor Day weekend, but Wielgos says it’s still far from being a sure thing.
Next week is looking to possibly be a little warmer than normal with about average precipitation amounts.
Forecasters are not expecting any major severe weather outbreaks over the next several days.
