After helping victims of tornadoes in western Kentucky last December in many ways, Christian County School System Superintendent Chris Bentzel says he’s glad the district was able to collect gift cards and deliver them to folks impacted by devastating flooding in eastern Kentucky.
Bentzel says many of those districts are trying to start a new school year with their buildings and many families affected by the disaster.
He says many individuals and organizations in the community pitched in.
Bentzel made his comments during his weekly interview on the high school football halftime show.
