‘Princeton Offense’ Master Dies

(Princeton, NJ)  —  The master of the “Princeton offense” has died.  The family of head coach Peter Carril announced his passing at the age of 92.  He won just over a dozen Ivy League titles with the Tigers while utilizing the offense that resulted in layups thanks to screens and back-door cuts.  Carril also made eleven NCAA Tournament appearances with Princeton while winning more than 500 games overall.
