The Todd County Middle School Site Based Decision Making Council has chosen a familiar face as the school’s next principal.
Kimberly Davis was previously an assistant principal at the school and she has eight and a half years of teaching experience.
She’s quoted in a news release as saying, “It is my privilege to lead Todd County Middle School and the many talented teachers and students here. My goal is to continue to provide a safe and supportive climate and culture at TCMS that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, each individual student and teacher can experience growth to their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community this year.”
Superintendent Mark Thomas says, “Having served as the assistant principal for the past four years at Todd County Middle School, Mrs. Davis already has a wealth of knowledge of our students, staff, parents, and our community. Mrs. Davis’ knowledge, experiences, and skill sets make her the perfect fit for Todd County Middle School to continue its growth trajectory. One of Mrs. Davis’ goals at TCMS’ next principal is providing the support for our middle school students to grow academically and be critical thinkers. She also wants to support growing teacher leaders at TCMS.”
The first day of school in Todd County is August 10.
