Five people were injured in a single vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Hopkinsville police say 31-year old Daniel Hart of Hopkinsville was southbound when he went off the roadway for unknown reasons across from the Chamber of Commerce and struck a concrete culvert.
Hart, 24-year old Amanda Barton of Hopkinsville and three children in the car were taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Hart and Barton were both charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, with the reports saying the children, all five and younger, were not restrained in their car seats at the time of the crash.
Hart was also charged with driving on a suspended license.
