The Hoptown Hoppers defeated The Fulton Railroaders 6-2. The Hoppers scored on a stolen base by Luis Vergara, a double by Jacob Dupps, and a groundout by Sean Sullivan in the first inning.
Luke Genier earned the victory on the hill for The Hoppers. Genier surrendered two runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out five. Jacob Dilday threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Dilday recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for The Hoppers.
Hoptown hit one home run. E.J. Alanis had the round tripper in the sixth inning.
Hoptown had 13 hits on the day. Dupps, Anthony Zarlingo, Vergara, and Drew Donaldson each racked up multiple hits for Hoptown. Zarlingo and Dupps each collected three hits Hoppers.
