>>Titans Training Camp Begins Tomorrow

(Nashville, TN)  —  Titans rookies are reporting to training camp tomorrow.  The team will practice at Saint Thomas Sports Park during the mandatory sessions.  Veterans are scheduled to report on Tuesday.

>>Reports:  Murray/Cardinals Sign Deal

(Glendale, AZ)  —  The Arizona Cardinals have locked in their quarterback with a new lucrative contract.  Reports say Kyler Murray has signed a deal worth 160-million-dollars of guaranteed money and an annual average of 46-million-bucks through 2028.  Murray made it public that he wanted a new deal before the season started.

>>Rams Receive Championship Rings

(Inglewood, CA)  —  The Rams are receiving their championship rings for winning Super Bowl 56.  The rings feature the Rams logo as well as the Lombardi Trophy flanked by two palm trees to add a touch of LA to the ring.  Los Angeles earned its Super Bowl after defeating the Bengals 23-20 on their home turf at SoFi Stadium back in February.  Cooper Kupp was Super Bowl MVP.

>>Patriots Decline To Name Coordinators

(Foxboro, MA)  —  Bill Belichick will be relying on his coaching staff this season, but will do so without any offensive or defensive coordinators.  The Patriots announced their complete coaching staff, with titles, and nobody has been selected to replace Josh McDaniels as offensive coordinator.  Former Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia and former New York Giants head coach Joe Judge led the offense during spring practices.  Linebacker coaches Jerod Mayo and Steve Belichick are once again leading the defense.

>>Defending National Champs Give Coach Massive Contract Extension

(Athens, GA)  —  The defending national champions in college football are giving their head coach a massive contract extension.  The University of Georgia announced a new deal for Kirby Smart that gives him a salary of just over ten million dollars for the upcoming season.  By the time the contract is up at the end of the 2031 season, it’ll be worth more than 12 million a year.  Smart said, “my commitment to this University and our Football program is unwavering.”

>>Nashville Travels To F-C Cincinnati This Saturday

(Cincinnati, OH)  —  Nashville S-C hit the road this weekend to play F-C Cincinnati in M-L-S action.  The club has earned seven points in their last five matches while Cincy has gotten just four points in their last five.  Nashville is fifth in the West with 30 points while Cincinnati has 27 points and is seventh in the East.

>>Im And Piercy Share Lead At 3-M Open

(Blaine, MN)  —  A pair of players are leading the way after the opening round of the 3-M Open at T-P-C Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.  Sungjae Im and Scott Piercy each shot six-under par to finish the first round atop the leaderboard.  Several others are tied for third place.

>>NASCAR Set To Race Pocono On Sunday

(Long Pond, PA)  —  NASCAR is set to take on the “tricky triangle” as it heads to Pocono Raceway for the M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400 on Sunday.  Christopher Bell is coming off his first win of the season at New Hampshire this past Sunday.  The race will be 160 laps over the course of 400 miles.

>>Billikens Hire Assistant Basketball Coach

(St. Louis, MO)  —  The Saint Louis Billikens men’s basketball team is bringing back a familiar face to its coaching staff.  Will Bailey was hired to be an assistant coach for the team yesterday.  Bailey served on Travis Ford’s staff between 2016 and 2020, and he’s spent the last two years as an assistant with South Carolina.  He’s been a part of five NCAA Tournament teams as a coach.
