Unemployment was down slightly from May to June in Kentucky.
Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary June unemployment rate was 3.7 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics. That was down a tenth of a point from the 3.8 percent recorded in May.
It was also down from 4.8 percent in June of 2021.
The national jobless rate for June was 3.6 percent, which was unchanged from May, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
