Governor Andy Beshear announced more funding from the Cleaner Water Grant Program for expansion of water access in north Christian County.
He noted during his weekly Team Kentucky update Thursday that the Christian County Water District was awarded $1.1 million in February for expansion of service in the northern part of the county.
The new announcement is that Christian County is receiving an additional $2 million to fund the project.
Christian County Water District Superintendent James Owen says the expansion will provide service to 90 additional homes.
The governor also announced that there are no longer any victims of the December tornadoes living in state parks, as they have all moved to intermediate or permanent housing.
