Asphalt resurfacing on KY 176 in Muhlenberg County was scheduled to begin Tuesday and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, it will take place from mile point four on KY 176 to Pond Creek Bridge, extending East to Rockport Paradise Road near mile point 13, a distance of roughly eight miles.
The contractor will address base failures prior to paving operations. Completion is scheduled for the fall. Drivers should expect delays, reduced speeds, and lane restrictions and flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.
