>>Analyst Picks Titans For Step-Back Year

(Nashville, TN)  —  An analyst is picking the Titans to take a step back this upcoming season.  C-B-S Sports’ Tyler Sullivan says Ryan Tannehill could struggle again and it wouldn’t be surprising to see his downward trend continue.  Sullivan also said the addition of Matt Ryan to the Colts is one reason Tennessee may not even be favorites to win the division.

(Nashville, TN)  —  Nashville S-C attackers struggle to generate chances in their 2-1 loss to L-A-F-C. The team will try and respond this Saturday when they hit the road to take on F-C Cincinnati.

>>Freeman, Others Added To MLB All-Star Game

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  The MLB is announcing a number of new additions to tomorrow night’s All-Star game.  Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman will take the place of Mets outfielder Starling Marte, while Mariners first baseman Ty France will replace Angels outfielder Mike Trout on the AL roster.  Cardinals pitcher Miles Mikolas joins the NL roster as a replacement for Brewers pitcher Corbin Burnes.  Relievers Devin Williams, Jordan Romano and Liam Hendricks also took the places of pitchers Max Fried [[ FREED ]], Gerrit Cole and Justin Verlander.

 

>>Orioles Draft Jackson Holliday First Overall

(Undated)  —  The Orioles are making history at the top of the MLB Draft.  Baltimore has selected infielder Jackson Holliday from Stillwater High School in Oklahoma.  Holliday is the son of former major leaguer, and seven-time All-Star outfielder, Matt Holliday.  This is just the second time in history that the son of a former MLB player has been taken with the first overall pick in the draft.  Ken Griffey Jr. was selected first overall in 1987.

>Trail Blazers Win Summer League Title

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Trail Blazers are claiming another title at Las Vegas Summer League.  Portland beat the New York Knicks 85-77 at the Thomas and Mack Center to earn this year’s NBA summer league championship.  Forward Trendon Watford scored 19 points and collected seven rebounds as he was named the game’s MVP.  The Blazers will receive the first ever Summer League championship rings for this year’s effort.

>>Christopher Bell Wins NASCAR At New Hampshire

(Loudon, NH)  —  Christopher Bell is etching his name in stone in the granite state.  Bell took home the checkered flag at the Foxwoods Resorts Casino 301 at Loudon.  Chase Elliott finished in second while Bubba Wallace took third.  Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick rounded out the top five.
