The Hoptown Hoppers took the lead late in a 5-3 victory over Full Count Rhythm on Sunday. Hoptown Hoppers trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Luis Vergara doubled in three runs.
Garrett Blevins was the winning pitcher for The Hoppers. The righthander lasted one inning, allowing two hits and no runs while walking none. Aaron Moss threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Moss recorded the last six outs to earn the save for the Hoppers.
Hoptown had eight hits in the game. Drew Donaldson and Ren Tachioka all had multiple hits for The Hoppers.
