Country music singer and songwriter Brice Long was back in his native Christian County at the Historic Alhambra Theatre with several songwriter friends Saturday night for the annual Back2Back Foundation concert fundraiser.
The foundation helps families in need in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties have a better Christmas each year and helps with other causes in the communities outside of Christmas.
Long says he doesn’t get nervous to perform in front of family and friends in Hopkinsville each summer and being at the Alhambra for the second consecutive year made it even more special.
Long began his performing career at a young age and many of those performances were at the Alhambra.
He thanked everyone in the community who has made his foundation so successful for nearly two decades.
Long performed with his full band and welcomed songwriter friends James Leblanc, Angela Hacker and Steven Dale Jones.
While the event was deemed a big success, a fundraising total was not immediately available.
