The Hoptown Hoppers took the lead early and went on to defeat The Paduch Chiefs 8-4 Thursday night. The Hoppers scored on a walk by Joshua Rodriguez, a walk by Ronald Brown, a walk by Drew Donaldson, and a walk by Jacob Dupps in the second inning.
David Ernst pitched Hoptown to victory. Ernst went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out three. Chase Harlan threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.
