>>Jody Allen Says Seahawks And Blazers Will Eventually Be Sold

(Undated)  —  The Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers aren’t going up for sale just yet.  Jody Allen, the chair of the Seahawks and Trail Blazers and trustee of the Paul G. Allen Trust, released a statement on Tuesday saying that neither team is currently for sale.  Allen has led both franchises since her brother and former team owner, Paul Allen, died in October 2018.  Jody acknowledged the eventual sale of the franchises, which is in accordance to Paul’s wishes and trust plans.

(Undated)  —  After missing most of the past two years with an injury, former Pacers forward T.J. Warren is signing with a new team.  ESPN reports Warren has agreed to a one-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets.  The 28-year-old played just four games over the past two seasons after dealing with consecutive stress fractures in his left foot.  The Nets have also agreed to a deal with former Pacer Edmond Sumner.

>>NBA2K Announces 2K23 Special Edition Covers

(Novato, CA)  —  Two special edition covers are being announced for NBA 2K23.  The “Michael Jordan” edition features Jordan on the cover while the “Championship Edition” is a portrait of the back of a signed Jordan Bulls jersey.  Multiple reports said Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker will also be featured on one of the covers.  Two WNBA athletes will also reportedly get their own cover as well.  NBA 2K23 releases on September 9th.

>>Report: Lakers Sign Thomas Bryant To One-Year Deal

(Undated)  —  The Lakers are bring back a familiar face to their frontcourt.  Yahoo Sports reports Los Angeles has agreed to a one-year deal with center Thomas Bryant.  The 24-year-old returns to the team after being drafted by the Lakers in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft.  Bryant spent the past four seasons with the Wizards and comes off a year where he averaged 7.4 points and four rebounds per game.  He was limited to 27 games.

(Memphis, TN)  —  The Grizzlies are signing one of their drafted players to a record-breaking deal.  The team announced Kennedy Chandler has agreed to a four-year deal worth seven-point-one-million dollars.  Chandler went number 38-overall in the draft and becomes the largest earning American second-round pick in N-B-A history.

>>Joe Burrow Rookie Card Listed For Nearly One-Million-Dollars

(Cincinnati, OH)  —  A Joe Burrow Rookie card is being listed for nearly one-million-dollars.  The owner of the signed card put it on eBay for nine-hundred-90-thousand dollars.  Yankees Third-Baseman Josh Donaldson attempted to buy the card for five-hundred-thousand-dollars last year.

>>Nick Kellogg Joins Ohio State Basketball Coaching Staff

(Columbus, OH)  —  Ohio State is adding a familiar face to their basketball coaching staff.  Nick Kellogg is joining the team as an assistant to the head coach.  Kellogg is the son of Ohio State legend Clark Kellogg who played for the Buckeyes in the early 80’s.  Nick will also take on the director of scouting role as he spent the last two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks as a video coordinator.

>>Report: Chicago Mayor Lightfoot Wants Domed Stadium For Bears

(Chicago, IL)  —  Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is pulling out all the stops in an attempt to keep the Bears in city limits.  Lightfoot is reportedly exploring the possibility of adding a dome to Soldier Field.  Lightfoot has been fighting to keep the Bears in Chicago for over a year, but the team has made steps towards moving the team to Arlington Heights.

>>Big XII To Talk With Multiple Pac-12 Schools About Possible Expansion

(Irving, TX)  —  Multiple Pac-12 schools could move into the Big 12 Conference for college sports.  Representatives for the Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Arizona State plan to meet with conference officials about a possible change as early as 2024.  Reports show Oregon and Washington are also under consideration.  All this comes after USC and UCLA announced they would leave the Pac-12 Conference for the Big Ten.
