Two Kentucky Wildcats Are Heading to The N-B-A

(Lexington, KY)  —  Two Kentucky Wildcats are heading to the N-B-A. Guard Shaedon Sharpe was drafted seventh overall by the Trailblazers while another Guard, TyTy Washington Junior, went 29th to the Grizzlies who then traded him to the Timberwolves.

(Brooklyn, NY)  —  The Orlando Magic are surprising some at the NBA Draft.  With the first overall pick the Magic selected Duke forward Paolo Banchero.  The 19-year-old is the fifth Blue Devil to be taken with the first pick in the draft.  Banchero joins Art Heyman, Elton Brand, Kyrie Irving, and Zion Williamson as the other first overall picks out of Duke.  Gonzaga center Chet Holmgren was taken second by the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Auburn forward Jabari Smith Jr. went third overall to the Houston Rockets.
