Attorneys discussing evidence in McPherson Ave. murder case

Attorneys are working out issues related to evidence in the case of the man accused in the March 12 murder of 31-year old John Michael Kellems at a home on North McPherson Avenue.

A Christian County Grand Jury indictment alleges 31-year old Lance Bowden of Hopkinsville cut Kellems’ throat with a knife.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling on Wednesday asked Judge John Atkins for some additional time to get all of the evidence requested to defense attorney Munroe Graham.

Judge Atkins scheduled another hearing for August 31.
