>>Report: John Wall Exercises Player Option With Rockets

(Undated)  —  The Rockets and John Wall aren’t parting ways just yet.  ESPN reports the point guard exercised his 47.4-million dollar player option for next season on Monday.  Wall hasn’t played in over a year after Houston opted to have him sit out last season after failing to find a trade partner.  The sides are reportedly still working on finding the 31-year-old a new team and could explore a contract buyout if a trade doesn’t materialize.

>>PGA Tour To Revamp Schedule, Increase Purses

(Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)  —  The PGA Tour is hoping to roll out a revamped schedule that’ll include increased prize money.  The new purses would be worth at least 20-million-dollars in eight existing premier events.  The tour also wants to add three new events in a global golf series that would have no cuts, limited fields and feature purses of at least 25-million-dollars.  ESPN reports the details are still being worked out, but the new updates are expected to be approved for next year’s season.

>>Former Titans Running Back Joins Team As A Scout

(Nashville, TN)  —  A former Titans Running Back is joining the coaching staff as as scout.  The team announced Bishop Sankey will be a scouting fellow when training camp starts again in July.  Sankey was a fourth-round pick back in 2014 but only played two years for the team.  He was cut after the 2016 season and didn’t play in another regular season game again.

>>Rob Gronkowski Announces Retirement

(Tampa, FL)  —  Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski is announcing his retirement.  This will be the second retirement for the 33-year-old free agent, who played two seasons with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers after eight with the New England Patriots.  In an Instagram post, Gronk says he’s walking away from football again with his head held high knowing he gave it everything he had.  Gronk initially called it a career after 2018, but came back two years later to re-join Brady and sign with the Bucs.
