Fulton takes lead late to defeat The Hoppers on Friday night

The Fulton Railroaders defeated The Hoptown Hoppers 9-6 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at six with Fulton Railroaders batting in the bottom of the eighth when Ryan Lee homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.

Parker Estes collected four hits in five at-bats to help lead Fulton to victory. Estes singled in the first, doubled in the third, homered in the fifth, and singled in the eighth.

Dylan Brown took the loss for The Hoppers. The right-hander allowed three hits and three runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking zero.

The Hoppers collected ten hits on the day. Hunter Hyden, Drew Donaldson, Ronald Brown, and Ren Tachioka all collected multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers.
