One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday morning on North Main Street in Hopkinsville.
The collision report from Public Safety Officer Maryann Jackson says 43-year old Cary Sharber of Hopkinsville was stopped facing southbound and waiting to make a turn when he was rear-ended by a vehicle operated by 30-year old Matthew Newton of Crofton.
Sharber was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for neck and back pain. Newton did not complain of any injuries at the scene and did not require a trip to the hospital.
