The Hoptown Hoppers lost their 3rd straight game Saturday night losing to Franklin 8 to 5 in Bowling Green.
In the first inning, Hoptown got their offense started when Luis Vergara-Schoonewolf hit a solo homer.
The Duelers pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning.
Garrett Blevins took the loss for Hoptown, He went four innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out four, and walking one.
The Hoppers collected seven hits. Anthony Smith and Anthony Zarlingo all managed multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers.
The Hoppers are now 5 and 4 on the season and return to action Sunday night at home hosting Fulton.
