The St. Louis Cardinals concluded a series with San Diego getting a 5-2 win at Busch Stadium Wednesday. The Redbirds begin a series at the Chicago Cubs this evening.
Speaking of the Cubs, Jason Heyward scored the game-winning run on Christopher Morel’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth giving Chicago a 4-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Atlanta Braves blanked the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-0 and begin a weekend series at the Colorado Rockies tonight in Denver.
