KYTC to begin pavement work on I-24

Motorists who normally travel I-24 should be aware of some roadwork that set to begin between the 86 mile marker and 92 mile marker.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, pavement rehabilitation work was set to begin Thursday morning and run until work was completed, which is set to be sometime in the fall. Officials say there will be lane and speed restrictions in those areas, and people are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.
