Shaedon Sharpe announced last night he will keep his name in the NBA Draft after all. The former top recruit who came to Kentucky in January will have never played a game for the Wildcats.
Kentucky hired a new assistant basketball coach Tuesday. The Athletic and Kentucky Sports Radio both reported Oklahoma’s KT Turner will join the staff. Coach John Calipari said he wanted to hire a player development specialist with Texas recruiting ties. Turner also has worked as associate head coach at Texas and SMU.
