Despite fighting off elimination three times in the Southeastern Conference tournament, the Kentucky Wildcats did not receive a bid to the NCAA tournament yesterday.
Tennessee received the top overall seed and will host Georgia Tech, Campbell and Alabama State this weekend at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville. The Vols will host Alabama State Friday at 5 pm in their first game after Georgia Tech faces Campbell at 11 am Central time. The double elimination tournament goes through Sunday.
Vanderbilt earned its 16th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance and heads to Corvallis, OR this weekend. The Commodores will play San Diego State at 3 pm Friday with Oregon State hosting New Mexico State.
Louisville received the number 12 overall seed and will host Southeast Missouri State at 1 pm Friday with Michigan meeting Oregon at 6 pm Central at Jim Patterson Stadium.
