Reds, Cardinals & Cubs lose while Braves win Sunday

The San Francisco Giants scored six times in the top of the 8th inning to defeat the Cincinnati Reds 6-4 at Great American Ballpark, ending the Reds four game win streak. The Reds are off today before opening an Interleague series at the Boston Red Sox tomorrow night, with pregame at 5:40 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: The St. Louis Cardinals managed just four hits in their 8-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium. The Redbirds open a series with the San Diego Padres this afternoon at Busch Stadium.

The Atlanta Braves doubled up the Miami Marlins 6-3 Sunday and begin a series this evening at the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Interleague: The Chicago White Sox got the 5-4 walk-off victory in their cross-town contest against the Cubs at Guaranteed Rate Park. Jake Burger hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 12th inning. The Cubs host the Milwaukee Brewers in a split doubleheader today.
